'Dongala Bandi' directed by Satish Vegnesa has many loopholes. Screenplay and direction is weak. Allari Naresh is the only saving grace of the movie.
Story:
Basic storyline of the movie is treasure hunt. Nizam jewels being the treasure here.
Nizam king gives all precious Jewels to lieutenant to hide it in a safe place. Three thieves (MS Narayana, Allari Naresh and Ali) steal the treasure and hide it in a jungle. Then they draw the map about how to reach the treasure and tear it into three pieces. They take one piece each. After that incident they never get a chance to meet again. After 50 years, the kins of these three thieves Krishna (Naresh), Aishwarya (Tanya) and others start looking for third part. Movie takes a twist when Don (Venumadhav), who is grandson of the one of the thieves, enters. How the kins finally hunt the treasure forms the crux of the movie.
Performance:
It was a tailor made role for Allari Naresh. His performance was good as usual. He has given an amazing performance. Tanya's performance was average. MS Narayana's spoof as Okka Magaadu is interesting. Ali and Venu Madhav were apt as the tribal chief and Don respectively. Venu Madhav.
Music:
Music by Valluri Raja Sekhar is below average. Songs are mediocre.
Verdict:
'Dongala Bandi lacks good direction and production values but has a few Comedy scenes. Overall can be rated as below average. |  |
