'Tajmahal' is directed by Arun Singaraju. And he has attempted to come up with a heart touching tale but then he
was not upto the mark either in the presentation or narrative.
Story:
The story begins with Ajay (sivaji) who is a student in the engineering college. His life takes a turn when he comes
across the beautiful Shruthi (shruthi) who hails from a wealthy family. It is love at first sight for him and since
then he begins to build his own dreams. However, what he doesn't know is that Shruthi is already in love with
another person. His name is Kumar but then, Shruthi has never seen him. They are telephone friends and even
Shruthi's father (nasser) who is aware of this relationship has no qualms about it. Why does he accept this unusual
relationship? What happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Sivaji did his best to bring life into the film but in vain, his image and his role were total contrast. Shruthi looks
really beautiful but then she will have to work hard on other aspects to become a leading lady, Nasser was regular,
Brahmanandam was good in parts, M S was hilarious, Raghu Babu was standard, Venu Madhav could have been
better, the others didn't have much to speak about.
Music:
'Tajmahal' music is composed by Abhiyan. And the background score was alright but songs were not
appealing.
